Q: Are you able to have both Sync and Push at the same time?
A: Yes, we encourage both, the reason for this is that due to the nature of the ‘Push’ App the user has to initiate the Pop up. We think that some users may forget to do this, so by having Sync running as well, it will pick up any MAs that have not been fed into Acaboom with ‘Push’. We are open to feedback on how many times the ‘sync’ happens if a client has ‘Push’ also installed – for example once at the end of day?
Q: Will the both apps cancel each other out?
A: Yes, if you have entered a MA via the ‘Push’ app, ‘Sync’ will check and not duplicate it. The same visa-versa, if an MA is picked up by ‘Sync’ and you are attempting to add this via ‘Push’ the system will tell you that it has already been created in Acaboom.
Q: Can we just use the ‘Push’ App and not have ‘Sync’?
A: Yes you can. All MAs being entered into Acaboom will only be sent via the Popup. There would be no background process checking any missed MA’s.
Q: Are we able to have the Push app compulsory?
A: Unfortunately we are governed by what Reapit offers and although we requested that the Push APP be part of an ‘Action’, the type of App we have been able to develop is one that is accessed via the ’Apps’ screen. This is why we encourage users to have both ‘Push’ and ‘Sync’.
Q: What are the main new points of the Push App?
A: The ‘Push’ app closely follows the process if you were directly entering the MA directly into Acaboom.
You are able to do the following:
Check the information that is being sent to Acaboom
Check any address formatting
Ability to change the Valuer / Presentation if needed. (The APP will default to what has been set in the MA anyway)
Ability to send the Pre-appointment or not
Ability to Check / amend the pre-appointment email (if required)
The property and Pre-appointment are inserted / sent at that moment
Q: Can I choose how the address gets formatted in Acaboom?
A: We add addresses to Acaboom (using the Sync) following some logic we have written, as Reapit doesn't provide a standard address format. Additionally, clients often enter or modify addresses in inconsistent ways. To handle this, we standardise each line by adding a comma, while the postcode is entered into the designated 'postcode' field.
To streamline this process and to offer further functionality (based on client feedback) we developed our Push App. This app allows the user to format the address before it's entered into Acaboom.
Q: I have Sync installed already, what can I do to get started with Push?
A: As you have already Sync installed, your Acaboom accounts should already be ready to use Push. All you need to do is go to the Reapit App Market and install the Acaboom Push app, you can then start to use it immediately.
Q: Are any items fed from Acaboom back into Reapit?
A: Yes, Acaboom activity is passed into the Reapit Journal. This includes pre-appointment and proposal views (limited to once per 10 minutes), preview URL links, as well as any notes or instruction requests.
Sync app - data collection calls
The Sync app uses endpoints with data-calls made daily to Reapit at 11am, 2pm, 4pm and 7pm; the Pre-Appointment presentation is sent out at these times for any market appraisal booked since the last data-call was made.
In addition to the above, a 10am call is made to capture any already made appointment changes. Such changes will be updated automatically within Acaboom, however if another Pre-Appointment presentation is required to be sent this should be done within Acaboom directly. This is achieved by going to: Client Presentations > select property address > Actions > Pre-Appointment tab > Send again.
