Absolutely, if you have a designer who understands your style and wants to be involved in creating a new Acaboom template, that’s great. Our goal is simply to develop a visually stunning template that helps you win more business.
Acaboom templates/slides function as web pages and are designed to display perfectly on any device and in any orientation. The example below shows web page content viewed on different devices and how the content moves around the page:
We recommend scheduling a meeting with your designer to discuss the requirements for building a new template in the system.
If your designer is experienced with responsive web design, they can likely be heavily involved in the design process, as they will understand how content on a page adapts to different screen sizes and orientations and what works and what doesn’t.
If your designer is less familiar with responsive web design, that’s no problem. They can still be actively involved in the design process and collaborate with the Acaboom team.
When working with your own designer, you may have specific design files and assets that you'll need to share with us. We then also need the design files and all assets, as we will need to rebuild what has been created. Files can be: INdesign, PSD (Photoshop), AE (After Effects), Figma, Illustrator, etc. We can also work with a layered PDF where all the assets are separate and high resolution. However, as a rule, we would prefer access to the assets as well.
Please note that while Acaboom encourages the involvement of a third-party designer, where one is available, to achieve the best end result, the standard costs still apply as the work required is not usually reduced with the involvement of a third party. Please note that there is no commercial uplift to the costs we incur; in fact, we often absorb additional costs when building a new template to ensure you get an exceptional result that helps wins you more business every day and continue benefiting from using Acaboom ongoing.
